march 2024 i took the train from liguria to find a kind & charismatic artist called maju in torino ! she told me about her nomadic & beautifully fragmentary story at a place called vermuttino. she then played three wonderful songs; two in english, the third in italian. her deeply personal & original songs feel so timeless. finally we had some wine on a balcony where she shared with me some more wisdom & inspiration on that sunny day ! thank you for being so welcoming & goofy & generous maju !
