The Atheist Experience is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
The Atheist Community of Austin is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas. The Atheist Community of Austin is dedicated to promoting atheism, critical thinking, secular humanism, and the separation of religion and government.
We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

Hey, Cesar. It is not the job of Athiests to prove God isn't real. It is YOUR job to prove he is. Don't come on the show and demand we do your homework for you. And you are not listening anyway.

I am so sick of Cesar calling the cell "the most complicated thing in the universe" when IKEA furniture exists.

I love the argument that, if humans can't do it, right now, it must be intelligent design. And if humans CAN do it, well they are intelligent so that proves design.

"Show me evidence for not believing a claim!" Just shows how stupid people are... Why does someone want evidence if I don't believe them? Imagine a conversation like this: - I believe that Metallica is my favourite band. - I don't believe you! - show me the evidence that you don't believe me! - wtf....

'Molecules in motion': the phrase that inevitably means 'I don't want to understand what the science says.'

I would love to see a call go like this: "Prove to me that God doesn't exist" "First, prove to me that leprechauns don't exist" "Well...there's no evidence that leprechauns exist." "Awesome. You're an atheist now." (Hangs up)

Every time Cesar called, it played out exactly like this: each call was equally painful and somewhat hilarious, as he attempted to parrot words and sentences he had read or heard from others. I remember one of the hosts asking him to explain what he had just said and he failed miserably.

I think my favorite line was when he tried to claim that the cell is more complex than the brain--which is made of cells. That's like saying the engine is more complex than the car. It's just plain wrong.

What's the evidence for atheism? Theistic claims have not met their burden of proof.

Where were all of you when I was growing up? I was surrounded by believers and I believed when I was first told about god as a child then over time the logic just didn’t make sense. Felt so weird like am I really the only one that doesn’t believe this?!
