Smart, well built, light weight, water proof. Man well done. People can learn from this.

2003, after a devastating diagnosis, we built our ExpeditionVehicle on a 1996 Ford CF8000 commercial truck. We completed our conversion -- while selling everything -- in less than a week, and hit the road from Oregon with the vague goal of 'south'. . Over two decades full-time live-aboard. With all our experiences, our rig is constantly evolving.

Awesome build! Also, you do a great job showing every step and putting the videos together! I think some people would be interested in the total cost of the build. Thanks for bringing us along šŸ‘šŸ¼

Does it get any better than this?? Astounding all the way around.. I'd love to say this is inspiring ideas for the build Im planning but I'd be lucky to have anything even half as functional and well built- hats off my friend this is the best diy build I've seen hands down

It reminds me of those chalet campers on some squarebody blazers. Looks so nice.

Okay, if this was fireside chat, then there must have been more than hotdogs and beer being passed around because this crazy!

10 minutes in and I subscribed. A perfect mix of time lapse and real time kept the pace moving along.

by far one of the best thought out camper builds ive seen that was more based on functionality and quality of the build. alot of videos ive seen were based on mostly how cool they looked and how cheap it can be done or best " gear". the fact you used reclaimed wood and scraps on this build and didnt affect the quality of the build is awesome. Good job bro. i would like to know cost and time for the build. im thinking of building a camper shell myself with tips and tricks youve done compared to spending over $3k sick video. please post another video of answered questions, 3-6month review, and maye what you wouldve done differently.

Really nice job Matt! It takes a lot of skill and determination to glass like that, clearly alot a surfboard skills carried over well to this build! šŸ’Ŗ
  • Iā€™ve built out a camper van and a cargo trailer but wow. This is very impressive!

This man in the first 5 seconds said he built the Solar System... he is a true Overland God. Lol

You may want to drill weep holes in all tubes that are sealedā€¦.. this allows ventilation with minimal rust from Trapped gasses
  • @MODFARMER
I was thinking of tackling making a slide in camper myself. As a mechanic I had some ideas but your videos really are giving me some great ideas!. The thing with store bought campers is they have stuff that I donā€™t need and things not where I want them. Thanks again
