I realized i wasn't alone with depression because of this song. The fact that someone else understood the misery, hopelessness and anger i felt was very helpful to me. Thanks Metallica.

This song literally saved my life. I do mean literally. In the depths of dark despair, a soulful sound did fill the air. Could I do a thing can't be undone, or stay, now I know I'm not alone?

Whenever I start watching a Fade to Black reaction my thought is: "I hope she/he appreciates the amazing extended soloing at the end because nobody does long, multi-layered solos like Metallica." Was not disappointed.

The moment as a teenage realizing that your hero's go through the same crap in life and it gives your hope and the ability to face another day.

This song would just break you down into pieces, literally destroy you. And then, when the song ends, you realize that it’s been actually gathering your pieces and reshaping them into a stronger version of your past self. It changes the way you look at life. Then suddenly you feel better after being so depressed. Such a masterpiece 🔥🤘

Fade to Black is prob one of best written and performed songs ever made.

My uncle committed suicide while listening to this song. The pain is realized each time I hear it because in this song we the family that knew him, know this song meant he was on the fence about it and in contemplation. The song didn't push him over, but tried to save him. 😔

I just saw Metallica in August in Pittsburgh and during fade to black a girl started balling out crying behind me. The impact this song has had on people is incredible. One of Metallica’s best

Metallica Master Of Puppets.. Must reaction.. True Masterpiece

This song was my dads favorite song. I took it as a suicidal song. Keep in mind I was the one that turned my dad on to Metallica. He took it as his relief from the bs with my mom. Now here I am decades later looking for revial of this song. My dad was a great man. 7+ years ago he passed of a sudden heart attack... I played this song over and over again cuz he loved the song for a different reason, but it came clear to me. I havent given in. It still is a masterpiece which I have new eyes for thanks to thid video. Much love
