Still surprised just how good the mechanics of the fist tasm game are. The Web Zip is brilliant, and the stealth/wall crawling is also a banger. Not to mention the scale of the boss fights.

Oh hell yeah I remember playing this on my jail broken ipod touch as a kid

I have played this mobile game, but I quite literally can't recall how much I've played of it. I know how far I am with it's sequel because it's still on my account and playable on my phone dispite it being delisted.

Great video my guy, I’ve been revisiting the old spiderman games on the ps2, and they’re all holding their weight so far! I love watching people play the long forgotten games so I’m glad I found your channel!

This game had such good combat, you had endless amount of moves you could do, wish the new ps5 spiderman games gave you this much option on how to beat your enemies by endless combinations, instead thy give you numerous gadgets that require no skill, you just have to press a button and thats it

1:07 This reminds when everyone recently (including me been saying this for awhile now)that the Spider-Man 3 game older versions are better then new gen versions especially the psp free roaming spider-man on the go and the cutscenes may be goofy but they added more detail on the psp version

I played the mobile TASM games when they were still available on Google Play and I must say I loved them. It's like a AAA game for mobile and back then there was pretty much nothing like that. And while the microtransactions seemed optional at first, both games had a brutal difficulty spike during the last bossfight, where you pretty much had to use the health potions to win. You weren't even able to get out of the bossfight to grind a bit more, you just had to win. That's my only big complaint. But you should definitely try TASM2 on mobile. I would say it's much better gameplaywise, although you have to grind some random events and side missions to get to the main quests. And while it adapts a short part of the movie's plot, most of the game is different. It even has Venom. Oh and Spider-Man in that game is voice acted by Yuri Lowenthal making it his first appearance as Spider-Man even before Marvel's Spider-Man.

I loved this game! I remember playing the first version where after the lizard bomb went off, Spidey lost his powers (yet could still wall crawl and leap off of buildings because it was a mobile game) which even as an 10 year old was confused since this was the Andrew Garfield version. Then they updated where it broke web shooters instead. Man I miss this game!
  • I own TASM 2 on mobile but it wont let me play it anymore it starts loading then just freezes unfortunately

I played this game so much when I was 9 back in 2012, this game was a banger! My saddest moment for this game was I never got to unlock the black suit! There was actually a black suit that you can purchase from the store! All you have to do was to collect those spinning spider tokens thing in random spots like web of shadows and once you got enough you can unlock the black suit but I could never find enough and now my iPad 2 won’t even turn on lmaoooo good memories

Now you've GOT to check out the sequel they made for this game! They got Yuri to voice their Peter for that one which is pretty sick.
  • @frienderoo
God I remember this game. I loved it so much when I was 5.

Love your vids man few ideas for next game captain America: sentinel of liberty
  • I was in the minority back in the day because I actually really enjoyed TASM game on the Xbox 360. Never played the mobile version, didn't even know there was one lol but still pretty cool to see. Nice video! Keep it up!

When you mentioned that there are no other Spidey villains in this game, I sort of got the Mandela Effect because I could've sworn I remember fighting Kraven and not being able to beat him at all! And then it dawned on me, they actually made a sequel to this! Or at least, another tie in mobile game but this time for TASM2. You should cover that one as well!

These videos are great, love revisiting these old games. What do you use to emulate? Been having trouble with the Spider-Man games. Would love to see some more videos about these underappreciated movie tie ins
  • First of all love your content brother. But for your upcoming tasm 2 video can u pls cover the story and character designs please? Cuz that makes your videos more fun to watch

Looking forward to the TASM2 video. I like that Gameloft tried their hand in making open world Batman/Spider-Man games, but they have their flaws and you do a good job covering their strengths and weaknesses. It's unfortunate that none of the tie-in games could get Andrew to reprise. Though it was fair to criticize Tobey's voice performances for the games, I still liked that he was there as you got to see more of him as Spidey, delivering fun quips and one-liners. I wish it was the same for Andrew as I quite enjoy his take on the character with just having two or I guess three films with him.

Love the video! Those three Spider-Man iOS games are so nostalgic for me! now that they've been delisted it's way harder to find and play them but I've found ways... However The Amazing Spider-Man 2's servers don't work and there is no decent way to play it. If the game works for you, how did you play it? I'd LOVE to replay that game sometime
