This channel is a great document of the job. Imagine people watching it in 100 years and knowing exactly what the job was like
  • Ha, yes I worked that day too. I’d call that a very early start for a Saturday, but like your thinking. Nice one to bring you in too.

Another awesome video, absolutely loved it! Thankyou Mark. - Abhishek
  • Always cool to see the "Behind the scenes" perspective. Cheers from Denver Colorado USA. - Larry & Phey

I understand your frustration on protest marches. The same with marathon( I have done 5) and other running competitions. 66 years old and start every morning with 1 hour workout so no serious health issues. 😊
  • Nice 1 again Mark👍👍It looked like a great start with the 1st job(a cheeky Nifty/Fifty£) Your shift was enjoyable for us to watch but a nightmare to navigate Central London. Today Saturday 3rd August the same with more protests( I luckily missed the road closures by minutes around Oxford Street today🙏) Be lucky Guvnor and looking forward to your next shift video👍👍

Hi Mark, The Ampersand, or &. Was actually once part of the alphabet as the last letter. When reciting the alphabet after z, it was "and per se" (meaning on its own) "and" and that's where the word comes from 👍

As an Arsenal fan, you earned a thumbs up from me with the Tottenham comment 🤣

Hi mark interesting insight of cab driver great video as always
  • Mark love your program on YouTube,I was a green badge driver in London and the suburbs for about 43 years but lost my License at the age of 65 about 13 years ago, over an eye test ,so coming with you on your trips is very consoling.are you not allowed to use Hyde park from Park Lane into Edinburgh Gate .Anyway keep them videos coming you have a very nice nature, well suited to the job.good luck.Mike.

Not seen the video yet but smiling at the title. This beautiful, challenging, complex yet hauntingly wondrous city can be a bastard at times. Trick is to emerge the otherside then listen to 'Waterloo Sunset'. My personal reset.
  • @jamesk1806
Sad I knew you would try head to Park Plaza after Waterloo... Been watching you too long! 😂 😊

I'm a tower crane operator and the health implications are pretty much the same. Know a few lads with heart issues and BP issues..

Great video as always! Just wondering in the future, if you are planning to upgrade your camera equipment so we can watch with better definition?
  • I went home at 2pm it was gridlocked traffic and there's another one today errrrrrr.
