I feel like the mod could be 10x scarier and better if like instead of dispawning, the wendigo would just run far away when low on health or if he can't reach target, and making him break doors and glass or break shield to make it a real hardcore wendigo This could fr be the Minecraft scariest mod

The only problem is that the wendigo is programmed to be so aggressive. It would've been more effective if he got progressively threatening or have some aggression system. At first he would stalk you and observe your moves, be more active at night and fleeing when you spot him. After building up agression he would try to attack you couple of times. If you just run from him, next time he spawns he would try to attack you straight away and if you do a lot of damage to him and he flees to change his strategy and try to ambush you next time. Something like that would be first of all fair and second more scary

I like how the wendigo’s design has a twisted mouth that makes up the full head. It makes it have a bit more of a human silhouette that a wendigo would have in proper folklore.

I am currently in the process of making my own mod which adds a Wendigo into Minecraft. Didn't see these videos before I started, but mine will be different and will come out soon :) Edit: it is out as Whispers of the Wendigo on Curse forge

I like seeing monsters that have some type of weakness but is scarce for the player to use or find. In amnesia the bunker for example, you can find bullets for your revolver that will damage the monster and make it flee briefly, or flares to distract it, grenades, and Molotovs to restrict its movement, but it’s still capable of digging through holes to reach you, and breaking down doors, so you’re always vulnerable from at least one direction. Maybe if some Minecraft dwellers could be repelled distracted of briefly scared away by use of limited resources, and was more capable of breaking your defenses it could make for more dynamic and intense encounters.

This mod would totally be scarier if he can break common blocks like doors, wooden constructions, windows, etc. The blocks he cant break would be like stone, so you have to smelt cobble to protect yourself making it substantially harder to survive. I also love the idea that he just runs away when he is on low health.

Hey man, love your series, I have a suggestion, you see the night dweller modpack isn't scary when the monster can't climb walls nor break dirt, wood or even glass. It would also be lovely to add fake despawning, so the player is scared at all times. Keep up the good work ❤
