I'm now 76 and Bolero has been one of my favourite masterpieces since I first heard it at the age of ten!!! In all these years it has never failed to mesmerise me with its soothing beauty!!!

When I was 8, I sprained my ankle while dancing to this. It was totally worth it.

i remember this from when i was a child. my dad played music like this all the time. it painted pictures of desert battles and histories floating through my mind. adventures in arabian cities that sparked my creativity. i would fall asleep thinking of sword fights and heroic saviors. it never fails to amaze me how well a song can mold a human being. its absolutely breath-taking, and deserving of a standing ovation. bravo
  • Primeiro vez que ouvi foi em um anime ( Digimon) viciado desde então 😂❤
  • this song awakens every neuron in my brain and tickles my soul in a way I have not felt since childhood when everything was new and fascinating. What genius musical stylings?! It's as though these musical notes were always supposed to be arranged together in this form-even from the beginning of time it was meant to be....
  • Nešto što će ostati za sva vremena i slušati se dok postoji ljudski rod!

With this piece, as with the best heavy metal, there's no such thing as 'too loud'. Brilliant!

I discovered how great this piece is just recently. I've always considered it to be too repetitive for my taste, but now I must say it's one of the greates pieces of music ever written. God, I love it!

Boléro was given its first performance at the Paris Opéra on November 20, 1928. The premiere was acclaimed by a shouting, stamping, cheering audience in the midst of which a woman was heard screaming: “Au fou, au fou!” (“The madman! The madman!”). When Ravel was told of this, he reportedly replied: “That lady… she understood.”

My usual taste in music is soul and R&B, but Ravel's Bolero is the only piece of music to send chills down my spine, send me into a world of my own and give me a feeling of total euphoria! Beautiful & Timeless :)

I just had to say, I got to listen to secret performance of Bolero before the Walt Disney Concert Hall opened in Los Angeles. Absolutely the best piece for that hall - it was like having thunder; waves and waves of thunder rivot throughout your body. Beyond what words can say, the accoustics were so impecable that you can hear the pages being flipped - from the "nose-bleed" seats.
  • em João Pessoa na Paraíba tive uma experiência inesquecível assisti ao por do sol na praia do jacaré ao som dessa musica e posso afirmar q foi uma das coisas mais lindas que eu já vivi espero voltar para viver novamente essa alegria.
