I know this is an older video, I just wanted to thank you for it! So many of the sanding and polishing resin videos use power tools. I'm just a small-time crafter and this is exactly what I needed, so thank you!!

You are right to the point, no beating around the B***** bush, Iv’e looked at like 10 vids and they all did the same mistakes, no info on what they are doing or why, no description of materials for whatever reason or even show how to do the job. A video I watched before this one claimed to show how to polish resin, NOPE, legit just some guy talking about his rotary tool without using it. You showed everything required in stages, no cuts, how is that so difficult for those other fools, thank you so much!

Just a warning that it’s a good idea to dip your resin item in water while sanding because the dust isn’t good to breathe in!
  • I saw another video on resin that had a very short polishing part, where they showed four separate numbers down in the corner, but didn't explain what they were for, and it was sped up. This is the FIRST video that lets me understand what the numbers were - it was the grit of the sandpaper. This is the first video I've found that clearly shows what to do and what products you use. Newbie here, so thank you so much for your help and clear instructions without ever saying anything.

Thank you... one of the best and clearest videos on the topic... no bs, no babble, no ‘you have to have this powertool’ nonsense. Cheers!

OMG THANK YOU!!! This is exactly the issue I needed solved. thank you so much. They seem to keep getting tiny little fuzz particles in some of my resin coasters and I was trying to find a way to sand it down just a little bit and then polish it without having to add a whole another coat of epoxy. THANK YOU!!!!!

I've never seen that before, it looks like glass. Thank you for sharing this amazing result!!!!!

Thank you so much for showing the entire process, albeit sped up. I bought a different plastic polish to fish some resin pieces that have imperfect surfaces and it didn’t seem to do diddly squat even with proper sanding. I’m going to try the turtle wax ones now!
  • First video I have found that actually helped me figure out how to sand and polish my pieces. Thank you!
  • I guess now it’s time for you to take a nap. Thanks for sharing. Good info
  • I use a buff on perspex as is melts the surface slightly but metal polish is really good too!
  • Could you let me know how long you sand for or what you are looking for before you stop at each stage? Thanks for the video, I’m thinking a timer might be a useful addition. Please let me know. 👍
