Man we need a separate one for Dave and a separate one for Yasiin. This 45min don’t do justice
  • @dakotac180
Dave needs his own interview, his stories are crazy. This was way too short, that whole room was black gold.
  • Imagine being Kweli, and your best friends are Dave Chappelle and Most Def. That's an amazing life

This needed to be a 3 hour pod, this was straight fire! Literally all GOATS at the table.
  • Am I the only who needs a part 2 of this? 🤦🏾‍♀️ Dave needs a full episode.
  • Why Nore started cryin though and kept wiping his eyes tryna hide it 😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The way Yasiin breaks down Kanye’s genius, he could get Kim K to take this guy back. I was living 2005 all over again.
  • Dave's transition over the years has been so beautiful. The way he talks now and the weight (the gravitas) he speaks with is truly inspirational. Well wishes to all of these amazing people for inner peace that they can continue blessing us (and themselves!)

Talib always sounds like he’s rapping even when he’s just having a regular conversation
  • Drink champs happens in every hood, and has been going on for decades, this interview felt like a family get together with all my favorite uncle's.
  • Man I can’t believe this ain’t the whole interview. I listened to this on Spotify this morning. It’s only 45 mins and we got a gold mine. But Nore we need more. Give us the full interview man.
  • Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) for me is the G.O. A. T ahead of his time. Soulful to a fault. Intelligent to a fault. Talented to a fault. Him and Talib together is an energy so profound. What he said about Kanye and Graduation, was brilliant. His analogy was spot on. I have that album from Kanye. Only two albums I own from Kanye.
  • Yasiin is so brilliant. His commentary on the music industry is so exacting.

"This is for my favorite band of human beings, the faithful , the graceful , the tragic the classic, " bruh mos killed that whole song Blaq star - tribute

We need four more hours of Mos Def breakin shit down like he did here. Respect.

Facts said about Graduation being the equivalent of Thriller for my generation. I am one of those who purchased and still got that CD.
  • As a South African, we were excited when we heard that Mr Yasin was moving to our country, and we truly embraced him. His positivity ruffled some feathers, hence they wanted him gone.

Mos Def - "Graduation was a Thriller moment" 🔥
