Nintendo has changed a lot over the years, but in recent years, one change in particular is undeniably more positive: inclusivity in its games.

I assure you that nintendo couldn't care less about pride. This an eastern company bro. For a channel that reports on them 90 percent of the time, you really do not know them at all.
  • "Here's a bunch of unconfirmed, but totally 100% really super duper gay Nintendo characters. Trust me, I'm part of the community. My furry boyfriend, his wife, AND her other two boyfriends said so too. We just know it." gtfo.
  • As far as I understand, Nintendo has always been for everyone, no matter what orientation you have.

Bowser is a wonderful father, happy Father’s Day!
  • Im queer but Nintendo is not the pioneer in the queer community. PlayStation has lots of queer characters like Ellie from TLOU

4:26 A is confirmed to not be non binary. Her code in the game says she’s female. Edit: Not to be hateful, I’m just speaking the fact
  • @ShortMiao
I think Nintendo is pretty much indifferent about this.

Nintendo is an unbiased company because their games are for anyone and everyone. They don't feel the need to cater to one group or another.
  • I’m not speaking for all gay people but as someone who is gay I can’t help but feel that making a big deal every time a character whose lgbt appears in something like games or movies is actively making it less normalized which I thought was the point of the pride movement. Especially sense lgbt representation isn’t really that rare anymore.

No Tris. Nintendo doesn’t celebrate pride. Look at the logo. Not everything has to be about you.
  • Tris, I hope you read this. But please, whatever you do please dont look into this that much, nintendo doesnt care about what western people celebrate, nintendo is making games for kids, kids dont care about gender or transgenderism, kids shouldnt be subjected to this and they should be open to what nintendo games are, pure fun, they have colorful colors without making things gay, which is what you want. no, let kids be kids, enjoy themselves before they get old and feel miserable their childhood sucked because everything has turned gay and miserable
  • Now if only we had more diversity in the Toad species outside Paper Mario
  • "Over the last few years, Nintendo has opened it's arms to the LGBTQ+ community" Which is why they banned pride flags in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's custom stages for being political speech, removed aspects of Breath of the Wild that would appeal to LGBTQ+ people in Tears of the Kingdom (Removing Kass, removing the Gerudo outfit and crossdressing into Gerudo Town, giving Sidon a canon wife, etc.), and all of this so-called progress being celebrated (such as Vivian allegedly being trans) is so meager and vague that it can be easily ignored, interpreted away, chalked up to a poor translation by politically motivated people, or just plain 'ol rainbow-tinted glasses coloring otherwise innocuous things as LGBTQ+ representation I'm fine with LGBTQ+ people seeing themselves in games, even relating to things that aren't necessarily a 1:1 representation of them and their struggles. But saying that all these small things are indicative of some greater acceptance from Nintendo is just plain pathetic. Stop acting like these crumbs are a full-course meal, especially since a lot of them are just pieces of dust EDIT: Happy Men's Health Awareness Month, and Happy Father's Day!

People are reading too much into that Splatoon stuff.
