I watched Ryan Hall, Y'all during the Greenfield tornado and he does a great job tracking severe weather nationwide.

LOVE your weather videos, we lost 3 huge trees when that system came through Wisconsin, landed on our garage

12:11 well it's not that its excessively large on purpose, its what NWS call a precautionary warning, or potentially due to the size of the complex or the storm, they have to account for extra deviance and sometimes splits. The biggest issue faced is the boy cries wolf, and the numbing of the feel that an actual tornado threat is looming over your area, but actually a tornado is coming your way, and it can be too quick and too sudden, decreasing lead times for shelter, especially those in mobile homes. Also the low resolution of the warning is something the NWS is working on to see how they can modify this as we need to understand pattern recognition of storm behaviour better so the right warnings come out at the right time, for the correct region. @LoveJarVlogs

What a great mother you are Christi to all your wonderful children. xx
-
Also so glad you all recovered safely from Covid💓

That rain was crazy when you guys were out running errands! I'm glad you are all safe and prayers for the folks hit by such terrible storms! My grandma was Catholic and she would burn palms and spread the smoke through out her house during a storm. She also would sprinkle Holy water all around and also on us grandkids. God Bless and stay safe
-
Stay safe whenever those nasty tornadoes and severe thunderstorms come. Prayers are being sent to everyone who has been effected by these tornadoes this year.
-
Great picture of the CGI (cloud to ground lightning) and cloud to cloud lightning! As you’re undoubtedly learning in school, tornado warnings are issued in an area, which may include an entire county when radar indicates rotation and there’s the distinctive “hook” where the wind moving in two different directions is merging.

This Tornado season has been relentless and Chaotic for some areas. I'm glad you're safe and sound
-
Hey Christi i would recommend a weather radio to keep you safe!
-
I also live in Iowa around the greenfield area, iowa has been hit really hard this year is the most tornados i have ever gone through in my entire life
-
Just to let you know we are supposed to get more storms today in Iowa so watch out and make sure to watch as well too think you stay safe 👍🏻 and to night as well too

Good evening, I am in contact with meteorologists that work at the NWS. This tornado although has a rating of EF4, is now unofficially the tornado with the fastest ever projected wind speeds ever recorded. The 2013 El Reno tornado in Oklahoma, had wind speeds estimated to be up to 341 mph; This tornado however has unofficially beaten the record.

Iowa has been hit hard this year, I'm lucky because Lake Michigan has killed a few big storms for us this year however to our South in the Kalamazoo area they were hit by 4 or 5 in May. I wish I could taste those veggies you made LOL. I make them with olive oil and fresh garlic. Stay safe
-
be safe till the storms stop and hope you and the kids and husband all take shelter until the storm stops to to be safe from a storm or tornado ty 🤗...

Hey from Bettendorf, iowa!! Girl it was INSANE!!

This is my first time watching your videos. You're very sweet and have a lovely home. I found it quite interesting from a weather person's perspective. We were on radar when the EF4 moved through Greenfield, Iowa the night you were taping your video. On radar we saw it and our hearts just sunk. The debris signature was more than evident and we wondered if anyone at all survived. By God's perfect Will, most did. Your storm didn't worry me at sight.

It was nice seeing u all again. I haven't gotten any notifications from u in quite some time. Hopefully I have it figured out but I'm glad to be back. I'm glad u all are safe.
