When you said, "The wind is going absolutely crazy...", I was thinking, "Hell, yeah. Listen to it HOWL!" Then I paused the video - and the howling was just the sound of my heat pump as I enjoyed my coffee in bed. You're such a trooper, Abel.

So many camping YouTubers, yet this channel is "must watch" for me. Love the variety of conditions and the enjoyment you derive from being out in the most intense situations. Hope Victoria is well! Be safe!
  • I am from Wyoming, USA and I just LOVE those birds!!!!We don`t have anything like that here.....What a gentle little spirit!
  • @Andyb2379
I’m currently camping in a WW2 small walled tent made of canvas. It’s summer here in the UK but bloody wet. The rain is just mental & this tent leaks a lot! I appreciate your struggle to bring us these videos

It’s always good to test your gear and yourself in trying conditions. Being able to trust your gear and yourself is a confidence booster and takes away a lot of the stress in difficult situations

Thanks Ginger Man in the Wonderland. Another great camp mate, and good to see you are back in your element. Look forward to the next adventure.

Your dedication to the camping craft is magnificent! Under such extreme conditions, you still ensure we have an excellent episode to watch. Thank You!
  • @gmer16402
No joke braving the elements like you do, good kit definitely helps. Always a great watch.
  • @Solosouls06
Nobody does epic storm camping like Abel...epic storms, epic brew, epic food.....
  • Love watching these videos. Very entertaining, reminds me when I used to go bush back in the 1960s. I was younger then, now I'm knocking at the door at 70 and still going bush once or twice a year. Thanks for sharing your entertainment.

Wow, this snowstorm camping adventure is intense! The combination of heavy rain, strong winds, and snow makes it a true test of survival. Abel & Victoria’s determination and resourcefulness are inspiring. I’m amazed at how they set up their tent and tarp despite the challenging conditions. Kudos to them for braving the elements! ❄️🏕️🔥
  • As a young teenager, how 74, used to camp in this kind of weather in old canvas, bottomless tents when in the boyscouts. Minimum equipment. I was usually firstup in mornings starting the campfire. Then we'd spend the day hiking sometimes upto 10 miles! Missita lot. Thanks Abel for taking me back to another time ! Great vid !!
  • Abel, just keep making the same videos over and over again, because I really, really enjoy them 😊😊
  • @allywebb87
Another brilliant video mate, love the different types of weather you had, look forward to the next one 👍🏻
  • @MikeChiz603
Good you could recognize the early signs of hypothermia and took shelter to warm up. Awesome adventure, you got to experience the full range of winter weather conditions.
  • Hi Abel, thanks for the video. Good to see your bit about hypothermia. For the non-camping newbies you never know, it could be life saving information for someone. Also congrats to you both with the baby girl news from a previous vid.
  • Smart move to go to that cabin and warm up , that is a strong tarp the wind is some thing else. And nice wood bashing you never let me down lol
  • @Canpatriot
Your content is second to none in my opinion. True adventures in adverse conditions. Enjoy all your videos. I enjoyed this on a hot and muggy night in Canada.
  • Wonderful to hear about your new little girl. I'm sure when she is grown enough she will be camping with DAD and loving it too. You will need to pack more hot dogs. Best to Victoria.
