WE GOT THE MUSIC VIDEO
-
Super fire
-
the original one is underrated
-
80s Japanese City Pop with a 21st century twist. Beautiful
-
"We're reaching aesthetic levels that shouldn't be possible."
-
Anybody who likes this art style, I'd suggest checking out the painter Hiroshi Nagai, who is famous for painting landscapes and cityscapes which were very popular during the Japanese "city pop" era of music and became lots of iconic album covers. This beautiful music video is very much a tribute to his style.
-
Ok there's the memes and all, but y'all can't deny this song fucking slaps
-
A moment a silence for those who can't find the original and enjoy all 4 glorious minutes
-
Every frame of this music video could be a desktop wallpaper
-
If you showed this to me without context I would literally be convinced this is a very unique anime opening.
-
Kingo’s singing is legendary and paring it with these amazing visuals is just perfect.
-
Massive credit to the animator for making this look so flawless. Jeez.
-
The legend actually did it, we gonna get a real music video!
-
i cannot believe that i live in an era where crystal dolphin has its own music video and not a 'lu over the wall' fanmade music video
-
1:42 just isn't long enough for this awesomeness! We need an extended version or a 1 hour continuous loop!!!
-
if this animation was a country, that country will have the most best vibes ever
-
I am Japanese. I am very pleased that City Pop is being evaluated overseas in this way. I was able to reaffirm the awesomeness of Tatsuro Yamashita and Eiichi Otaki. Also, the songs are very respectful and the melody is elaborate and wonderful.
-
I would be fine living in this crisp, colorful, stylized plane of existence.
-
Imagine having a jog in the Japanese coastline with your dog during sunrise and this song playing on loop on the back of your head isn't it beautiful?
