Chargers got a steal in Rice. He’s got that Dawg in him. Son of the 🐐. ⚡️ ⚡️ ⚡️
  • @springer22ddss
Joe alt in one off season went from TE to best LT outside of the nfl. Pretty sure he'll be able to go from LT to RT

Brandon Staley has proved he is not a good football head coach. Plus, as a defensive coach, the secondary completely abandoned him verses the Broncos, but that didn’t get him fired. Then comes the Thursday night game against the Raiders. The whole team said FU Staley! Be gone!

Tom you are nuts. Chargers get to the 2nd round of the playoffs and lose is a disappointment? Harbaugh would win coach of the year easily. This guy is hard to listen to.

As a Chargers fan the expectations are not as high as what Tom is saying. Listen what Jim did in SF was different because that team had so much talent. The Chargers roster has too many holes right now. The offense will be dominant. They will probably move Pipkins from RT to RG and have Alt at RT, they signed Bozeman and you have Zion at LG and Slater at LT so you feel really good about that line and the run game. Special teams looks very good right now as well. But that defense, specifically at DT and at CB is very thin. So you will see them do 10 minute drives and hold possession but then get beat defensively over and over. A 8-9 season would be the expectation. If we get into the playoffs with our defense as it is, then the hype train can start but realistically we know it's going to take a couple years to build this roster back up.

Brandon stately is a really good football coach.. pardon me😂 did I just hear that

Bro the Ladd disrespect is crazy. He will be our WR1, just watch.
  • @taylork2844
(Tom) …… Lambo Ladd has the best route running that’s why u saw how excited they were on them trading up to go get him. His foot work, separation and route running was too good to pass up if u didn’t know that u should of watched more tape on him.

As a chargers fan I just wanna be competitive man…. Playoffs would be incredible

“[Losing] in the first or second round of the playoffs would be a disappointment [for the Chargers].” Are you nuts?? Your expectation is that they make the AFC championship game? To me, if the Chargers make the playoffs at all, that’s a good first season, why are you expecting to them to compete RIGHT NOW?

Latham's size and strength are great. But Alt has something Latham doesn't. I believe the Chargers went with Alt over Latham because Alt could pull to block on the right. Watching Latham's highlights you can see the Guard pull and Latham just turn his block outside. Since the Charger's will prolly run both inside and out, Alt's ability to cover more ground to block is best for Roman's offense and that's why Alt is the better pick. And for the question on whether Alt can play RT, well he'll be moving forward off the snap more then he will backwards so I don't think transitioning will be a problem on this team.
  • As a chargers fan, my expectations in year one are to Atleast make the playoffs. We don’t need to make a deep run. I think all charger fans know that in about 2 years is when we’ll be real contenders competing for the superbowl!🔵⚡️
  • @chargerboy411
Heard it here first folks. Superbowl year 3 with Jim. By then team is set and full of stars and depth
  • @MrYatesj1
As a Charger fan I don't have huge expectations this year (I think we need young legs in the run game and I really think a strong Center is needed not to mention a meaner Def) Next year I want to give the Chiefs FEAR of the Powder Blue
  • Even though the Chargers didn't draft Marvin Harrison JR. or Malik Nabors they chose to draft an Offensive Tackle in Alt that will be able to protect the face of the franchise QB Justin Herbert!! This will enable Herbert to stay upright.. be able to hand off the football to whomever the Runnin back is or let Herbert to pass the ball to his receivers!! :)
  • So JC Latham is more of a prototypical right tackle because he's bigger than Joe Alt? You do know Joe Alt is taller and about the same weight compared to JC Latham right?
  • @bryanjackson405
Being that the Chargers needed a RB....I would of bet the farm that Harbaugh took Blake Corum in 2nd or 3rd round. My wife is a Chargers fan and I told her the Chargers will draft Blake Corum.

The entire adult hood since, Leaf, Harbaugh Brees, Rivers every year its the same thing ! I hate marketing now...
