This "Seconds Out" version of "The Cinema Show", from Genesis's "Selling England bu the Pound", is probably one of my favourite live renditions ever! I always wanted to cover it in some way, and now the time feels right!
Certainly I'm not as good as masters Phil & Bill (!!!) so I've recorded my own rendition of this beautiful song. I really enjoyed recording it, hope it will enjoy yourself too ;)

Have to say man, that was fantastic. I'm a big Genesis fan, and it sounded exactly as they did it all those years ago. I do know a few drummers. Not from big bands, only smaller bands with bags of talent, but I seriously doubt they could drum like that. Amazing man. Properly amazing.

Seconds Out is such a tremendous concert. This duet is a dead on re-creation of Cinema Show. You got sick drumming talent

Collins and Bruford is like Mercury and Dickinson doing a vocal duet.

My favorite drum piece of all time. It's a amazing tune and you play it perfectly. Sounds a lot like the live version.

so sweet! we played air drums and keys to Seconds Out for hours as kids 35 years ago...so cool to see how respected this drumming and music still really is!

Simply amazing!! I love the drum duets Phil Collins used to do with Chester Thompson on Genesis, and what a great idea to record this one. And with the mirrored drums which is a nice detail to people who knows that Phil Collins is left-handed. Great!! Congratulations, man!

Excelente !!!! Inmaculado !!!! Me encantó. Sos un genio. Se nota que le dedicastes mucho tiempo en hacerlo porque no es facil aprender que toca cada uno y como tocarlo sin mezclarlos. Muy bueno el sonido de las baterias y los angulos de las camaras.

Great job ! Congrats from Uruguay. I listen to this music since I was 17 and I'm now 58, and is amazing. Why didn't exist all this technology in my youth to create original versions like this? Well, saluti a tutti !

The best genesis drums cover that i've never seen... I'm brazilian and in my country there are not many "genesis-maniacs" as me...
  • You must have been on such a high when you'd done that? It was brilliant to say the least!
