China is not only buying up farmland in America but in Australia too, along with Australian ports. Why are not more politicians concerned about this ?
  • OPRAH put this man in his position. Of course he'll never speak ill of anything she does.
  • @MissBeeeBeee
Someone please explain to me why the US is SELLING this farm land to China.
  • @justaguy105
I would think Oprah admitting to taking the drug while promoting Weight Watchers is pretty close to "an athlete" breaking home run records while on steroids. Not quite the same scale but trust is completely broken.

I find it amazing that most commented on Oprah…and NOT about China buying farmland around military bases in US…please America…wake up and get your priorities straight. As a Canadian who loves the US this I find very disturbing.

I’m shocked Phil just didn’t say ‘I’ll never bite the hand that fed/feeds me’.
  • @DanaPrice-os9hh
Dr. Phil had my full attention until the Oprah question when he flipped a switch and responded like every other reporter avoiding or manipulating the issues.
  • @donnakearse2503
Phil is not going to say anything bad about Oprah. She was deceitful. Hold her accountable.
  • You can't ask Dr. Phil his true opinion of Oprah....as she was his TV mentor and he is beholden to her....ask someone who doesn't have a conflict of interest
  • I totally disagree with Oprah pushing the drug. That is just unbelievable.
  • @ramonaking1029
WE are experiencing growing pains but the reason it hurts so much is because they are pushing us in a direction that isn't moral. We need to get back to family values and get God back in our homes. Here in the south, we still have prayer before our sports events. Means a lot!!!
  • The only reason Opra admitted this is because she got caught! Simple as that! I've lost respect for both.
  • I guess we see there’s a line Phil won’t cross & that line is Oprah. Waste of time even asking him about her
  • @C1nderfire
We should NEVER have started outsourcing anything. Look where we are now. I doubt we can rely on just ourselves for survival and that is pitiful and dangerous
  • @lizgander9172
Since when does the Chinese government get 1st Amendment protections?!?!
  • @TheGhost204
“Kids stopped living their lives and started watching lives being lived.” What a great line! So true.

Piers, I think you should have a regular once a month chat with Dr Phil so we can all catch up with what's Really happening in America.
  • I agree wholeheartedly that many people are leading second-hand lives. I don't know if internet cafes still exist but every time I passed one I wanted to go in and beg the people: TALK TO EACH OTHER AND MAKE FRIENDS. What really beats me are the young couples sitting across tables glued to their phones, completely oblivious, seemingly, that they like each other enough to share a meal! Perhaps that's why St. Valentine's Day is so important to them - a chance to connect. I'm a grandmother so perhaps nobody cares about my opinion but romance is hiding behind the phone. Just the boost it gave my generation when a flirtatious look by a random stranger was thrown our way! Nothing salacious, just appreciation. It made us try to hide our smiles.
