You can't be hung upside-down for an extended period of time. It puts to much pressure on the heart from other organs pushing down on it and the heart then can not pump enough blood to your extremities and organs it's a deadly situation and they are all very lucky to have been ok.

A bunch of tough internet weirdos acting like they wouldn't be traumatized after hanging upside down for half an hour with a bunch of hysterical people who think they might die.
  • Terrifying. I can’t imagine hanging upside down that long. I think my head would have exploded from all the blood there.

Good thing most of them were young people. Older folks will have had a different outcome.

I imagine he IS traumatized. An older person could have had a brain aneurism or heart attack. Why are rides like torture?

Oh my goodness. How horrific. Knowing you are stuck combined by the height of the ride is terrifying enough. Then to add in being upside down for half hour. The thought of the rides restraints malfunctioning at any moment. Then the blood rush to your head and general circulation, with pressure of the restraints pressing forcefully against your weight. Not your everyday job for the fire brigade.

I am so sorry you all went through this. I can't imagine how scary this was for everyone. Situations like this can affect anyone one emotionally. Time will heal your experience.

I’m so thankful they’re okay and I hope they get the support they need to move into a healthy perspective. It could have been so much worse. Thank goodness for first responders. I also think any ride that can potentially stop in a life endangering position is a bit more risky. 😅

I was there when that happened. I wasnt on the ride, but i was watching from a different nearby ride before the park was completely evacuated. The scariest thing was that next in line was my friends, and they could’ve gone on there but in so glad they didn’t

Low key I don’t think they’re lying , stuff like that does scar you for life. And I remember as a teen I would go to six flags and when I went to sleep that night I still felt like I was on the rides so he’s 100% right him thinking he’s upside down 😂

  • I am a good friend of hazen and was also on the ride. I feel so bad that me and all my friends had to go thro that.
