The difference is African Elephants are bigger than Asian Elephants. African Elephants are from Africa due to the big ears & has tusks both males & females. Asian Elephants are from Asia & only the males has tusks instead of the females plus what I learned from Bronx Zoo's Wild Asia Monorail ride for 6 years is Asia's Asian Elephants are becoming the rarest. To help African Elephants in Africa & Asian Elephants in Asia in the successful distant future against poachers & traffickers is donate to Wildlife Conservation Society at 2300 Southern Blvd in Bronx, NY 10460.

This zoo has a terrible record with elephants; many of them born have died here because of disease transmission
  • They forgot to mention the African elephants have bigger ears than Asian elephants.

DISGUSTING. The life spans of elephants in zoos typically are far shorter than their 70-year life expectancy in the wild. Since 2000, more than half of the 76 elephants who have died at facilities accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums never even reached the age of 40. They are imprisoned. They deserve freedom. Its just heartbreaking.

You failed to educate everyone on how much space an elephant needs for a good life. They walk for miles each day in the wild, but that is kind of hard to do in the prison you provide for them. You should name the habitat Houston Elephant Penitentiary.
