Retired 0369MSgt here: I yelled at the scene of the Sniper team getting captured! I even turned the movie and said Fk it I am not watching this movie! I turned it back on and Wow! I am a US Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran (Platoon Sergeant). I loved this movie from the beginning to the spectacular twist at the end. I was so moved by the scriptures, reflecting on my combat and post-combat life back home until the ending caught me by surprise. It snapped me out of my " Thousand Yard Stare". I love being a Marine...."Once A Marine, Always A Marine". Semper Fidelis Marines. Ooorah!

That was one GREAT ending. For those of you watching or about to watch, hang on to the end. You will not be disappointed. Whoever did the editing and the music in the final fight is quite the master. It jelled together so smoothly yet was so gripping with emotion and tension. Another master at work. Whoever wrote the eulogy at the end also.....a master with the pen. Very inspired and well thought out words.

A great movie!❤! Which is depicting clearly that when a marine is no longer of any use to his country, although he was injured to defend it, his country abandons him and only fellow marines,take care of one another! A very sad truth, indeed!

As a Viet Nam Era Marine, I highly endorse this movie. Marines are a unique brotherhood especially when things touch the soul. I remain Semper Fidelis . Maranatha ! A friend always !

Thought provoking with a stunning twist which reaches out and touches the very nerve we call love, they don’t often make films as worthy as this. Thank you for bringing this epic into all our lives…….🇬🇧🇺🇸🕊

Wow,this movie,was amazing,Eric Roberts,wow,he owed his character... awesome but this was a complete,ultimate, sacrifice of love,for a comrade..and one fighting to live,the other fighting for him to live,humbling himself,saying nothing,and the ultimate sacrifice at the end....🙏 Truly powerful,amazing, well written,directed,and superb acting...thank you so very much,not seen such a powerful, movie,as this one,in a long time.. The Title drew me to watch this movie. Truly appreciate giving the subject matter a view of what veterans left behind them on the battlefield! I'm now trying to bring my whole self home from my time in the service. Today I can not tell myself that I Love you!
