I'm a casual fan of Borderlands. I played a lot of the first two games when I was still in school. I haven't kept up with all the games and DLC, so I appreciate something like this video that strings the whole story together for me. I like that this video uses some actual musical scoring instead of just using those same Kevin McCleod royalty free pieces, which were already incredibly tired a decade ago.

@2:41:26 on launch this cutscene bugged during my first playthrough and showed Lillith t pose into the moon it was the greatest moment in borderlands history if you ask me just a masterpiece of cinema. all bl3 memes aside you made my stone heart show some cracks with this video. maybe even for fans like me who don't enjoy the story these days there's still hope. great video brother.

I've gotta say i've played every game and every DLC that's with in the borderlands franchise over 10+ times(i fucking love this franchise). So far never fully understood the story line, this is by far the most in-depth video I've seen on a franchise ever. Hearing that you never played a borderlands game, went from 0 knowledge to explaining the story so well that I learned a few things I didn't know, even after playing through the games and DLC's multiple times. This is a masterpiece of a video, the hard work and effort you put in this video just a chefs kiss to you my good friend, keep up the great work.

A 3 hour lore video on the Borderlands series in 2024? Damn! I'm going to have to come back to it though because it's talking about BL1, as you'd expect, and I haven't played much of BL1. Once I beat it I'll be coming back to this video to watch it! I got 40min into the video before stopping though, and so far this is a really good video, well done! Already learned things that I didn't know and I'm not even half way through.
