Come to Spifftopia, it's the most fun you'll have in your life!! (Please note: this may be the last fun you will have in your life as there is a very small (99%) chance you will die)

My dad would do a playthrough of one of the scenarios, with the goal of trying to get as many people in the park as possible. (We didn't know about the no-exit feature, so this was done properly) Once the scenario was over, he would place down many free balloon stands so that as many people as possible would have balloons. Once that was done, he would systematically delete the pathways in the park, slowly corralling all of the guests together until they end up on a single tile, usually suspended a few layers above the ground. Finally, he would put a single tile of water below the path, and delete the final piece of path, dropping thousands of people to their watery demise. People with balloons will release them when they drown, so you would get a cloud of thousands of balloons floating away for a minute before they all burst in an ear-shattering "POP".

Visitor: "Wait... it's all Mr. Bone's Wild Ride?" Spiff, locking the gates to Spifftopia: "Always has been, chap."

Honestly RCT2 is still one of the best looking videogames out there. No, it's not technically impressive but it has timeless style.

I loved visiting Spifftopia park! In no way did I ever feel threatened while I was there, it was as lovely as a freshly brewed cup of tea!

  • RCT and RCT2 still hold up. Chris Sawyer is a legend, wrote the game in assembly code basically alone. Frontier made a great entry with RCT3. Atari threw the franchise in a dumpster and set it on fire. Thanks god Frontier came in clutch with Planet Coaster. Edit: Forgot to also shout out the amazing people behind OpenRCT2, they've also put in so much work to keep the game relevant and bringing it to the modern age. Also Marcel Vos is amazing.

I worked at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Purgatory is such an appropriate name. I was once stopped from leaving the park by a security guard and detained, nearly jumped by 7 other guards, then ultimately was threatened to be told to leave. At which point I laughed at the guard screaming at me, because I was simply trying to walk out the gate the entire time. So this video makes me laugh and is quite accurate.

I love the wonderful Spifftopia park, it was just a blast the last time we visited. Plenty of rides to ride and excellent manage. I am in no way being threatened by park management and this review is 100% authentic

Spiff : “Before you say this website is completely bogus... this is IGN” Everyone : still waiting to hear why the website is not completely bogus.
  • Spiff: wondering why a exploit is in the game Me: Wondering how tf someone found out that by placing 4 stacks of 15 layers of a random scenery, placing the worst ride over it and save it to his desktop is even a exploit
  • Spifftopia is super fun! I am actually here as we're speaking, I haven't left in 23 years because I am not allow- I mean it's just too fun! In no way is it threatening at all!

The amount of early weekend mornings back in early 2000s loading up RCT 1/2 without remembering to turn my volume down. I always clenched when it started blasting that intro music and I was scared of waking my mom up. I remember reading about the closed signs back then too and always did that. I am so glad you put this in here because it brings out so many memories.

Oh my gosh, I loved the Spiffventures themepark! It was so aggressively unthreatening and whimsical! They don't bother with nuanced "requirements" like safety belts or bars, and every ride is riddled with character, what with the rickety support beams - so exciting! The sleeping arrangements are to die for, as well - so rustic! I particularly enjoyed the Shark Tank show, where people were selected (at random I'm pretty sure, the lucky buggers) and comically deposited into a large pool of water filled with sharks! I tell ya, that Spiffing gent sure knows how to draw a crowd! The best bit of all is that we never have to leave!

"RT Game is trapped in purgatory" You mean to imply he wasn't the gatekeeper and host of that place?
  • Goes to the bank for the loan. Banker: So what are you going to use this loan for? The Spriffing Brit: So hear me out there is this exploit...
