  • That cat was like "If that's the new dinner bell, I ain't hungry".

Far from the tidiest restoration I've seen on YouTube. The drilling out on the lathe was painful to watch!
  • Fun to spin dry bearings with air, if you don't expect a long lasting bearing.
  • Ever heard of masking tape? This has to be one of the most half-assed restoration jobs I've seen.

Very good video. This is the first time I’ve ever seen the inside of a Siren!

hey man, you're off to a good start. stay on that grind and keep honing your craft (both the actual restorations and the filming side)! would have liked to hear the siren really cranked up but I realize that's probably not feasible if you've got neighbors :P

Never blow dry bearings they will explode!!...not a joke!

Очень странно - забивать подшипники в посадочное место, стуча по внутренней обойме🤔🤔🤔
  • good thing thats not an in use functioning unit, cuz you just fried those barring's, u NEVER hit barring's with air like that

a good job, no doubt about it. but if I can some advice. you have a good set of tools, but I highly recommend that you both attach them better to their mounts (the lathe moves a little too much, for example) and use them more safely. I say this for your physical safety ... otherwise we won't see many videos of your work. best, Alessandro

By the way... you ruined those bearings, never blow air through bearings, just repack new grease in.

    Excellent work! Congrats!
