The rising of Iwo Jima has exposed many remnants of the terrible battle there, ships and other things are now above water level.
-
These are such great reviews of weekly volcanic activity, thanks for the awesome research and editing work, it's brilliant 👍👋
-
Yes, there are 50 volcanos erupting. No, it isnt particularly unusual and no, it has nothing to do with the solar maximum, sun flares, or the Aurora.
-
I noticed this swarm on the Volcanoes & Earthquakes app and wondered if you'd mention it. Thank you for your dedication.
-
Excellent content as usual.
-
Eyes on White Island, New Zealand. A very explosive type volcano. The Crater Lake has vanished!
-
Thanks for all the hard work on these videos!
-
That +/- erupting volcanoes list is a really awesome idea, love it
-
well that was an interesting series of activities thanks for the information
-
Thanks as always, Geology Hub! While quite unrelated, the Tobaru volcano's recent earthquake swarm has made me think if the Indonesian volcanoes in that region are understudied, especially with the highly eroded cinder cones near the Tobaru volcano. I remember that one of the the 1808 mystery eruptions was suggested to be in Indonesia.

What website/database do you use to check for ground deformation?? Definitely want to check that out
-
Rainfall there at Mayon Volcano is frequent. I remember when we visited that area, most of the time it is covered by rainclouds.
-
Rainfall is usually measured in millimeters. 1mm on one square meter = 1 Liter.
-
Very interesting! Thank you for sharing.
-
Thank you !! 👍
-
Tobaru. Never heard of it until now.
-
Thanks.
-
I'm a huge fan of Calzonian eruptions.
-
