For a limited time, the “CAR” character is available as an in-app purchase. In other words, it's a Crossy Road character for $1.99. It's a return of an April Fools' Day joke from the previous year.

Seeing this vehicle in game was disappointing, not because of anything Hipster Whale has done, but because it's been so difficult to get a normal and affordable electric car.

So, while this video shows footage of the new Crossy Road character, it's also a rant about the state of electric cars in the United States.

It's really frustrating too, as Apple just wasted 10 BILLION dollars on their failed car project. I think of what ‪@ApteraMotors‬ could have done with something like that — the world would have been changed for the better.

Anyway, there's a new character in Crossy Road. 🤷🏻‍♂️
