If I ever get attacked by a zone eater, I'd literally just let the effect resolve and destroy my monster. My opponent deserves to have some happiness to go along with such optimism.
-
Alternative title: "Cards Joey Wheeler Insists Belong In Every Deck"
-
Lmao I love the concept of the “Swordsman From A Distant Land”. “Well, he’s from a distant land. So it takes a few turns for him to strike down the other monster. He’s gotta walk all the way.”
-
Fun fact about self-mummification: Lore wise, it is heavily implied to be the backstory of Skull Servant
-
The Humble Sentry is actually really good in my Wall Shadow deck, it lets me shuffle it back in if I ever draw it. garnet-be-gone!
-
Cracks me up every time he says "is not very good" or "is kinda bad". Cus his tone sounds like he wanted to say "is absolute shit" so bad but had to stick to the script for professionalism.
-
Pot of generosity is quite good in exodia decks, just in case you draw a piece of him. It allows you to make the duel more dramatic
-
"You see Kaiba, my grandpa's deck is made entirely out of pathetic cards" - me making a meme deck out of these
-
Why do all the bad cards have some of the most creative card art?
-
Zone Eater OTK will rise one day, just like Swordsman From a Distant Land Turbo
-
That "reset your deck" feature of Localized Tornado is very good in Duel Links, where decks are often kept as close to 20 cards as possible, so deck-out strategies are rampant.
-
imagine an archetype where all the cards gain advantage from being revealed while in hand the humble sentry would suddenly become op lol
-
Neo Bubbleman is a literal -3 in card economy Who the hell playtests at Konami?
-
Just as a heads up, 2000 DEF on a level 4 monster without penalties was introduced a month after the OCG started, with Aqua Madoor in March of 1999. Dark Artist was released 4 months after Madoor in Booster 3, and on that set there were other Level 4 mosters with more DEF (and even some with more ATK than its DEF), than it. It basically was born powercreeped.
-
I expected to see “Larvae Moth” on this list, you need 2 specific cards to survive on the field for 2 of your turns just to get out a 500 ATK monster with no effect other than its summoning condition
-
After hearing Duel logs say “Oops”, I really want to see a top 10 funniest cards (names/artworks/effects) video
-
TheDuelLogs is that kind of yugituber that can go from "top 10 light machine fusion monsters that don't require a fusion spell" to "top 10 worst cards ever" in the span of 1 video
-
That moment when you remember Zone Eater was a McDonald's promo.
-
Self mummification definitely has some niche uses. For example, saving a card from being banished or stopping your opponent from taking control of your monster.
-
Tbh hearing localized tornado get called 'bad' really drives home how different my playground Yu-Gi-Oh was to competitive stuff. I used to have that card in my 'dinosaur deck' because I thought it would be good to get my monsters and stuff back 😂
