Perfumer Reviews 'Alexandria II' by Xerjoff

Aaron said the magic sentence (7:03) "If I didn't have my own range and wasn't a perfumer, I'd buy it and just wear it all the time because I loved it." This has been my favorite scent since I first smelled it. Can't get enough! Price? I buy fragrances all the time for many years, so I simply stopped buying other fragrances just to get this one 🤷🏻

I agree, this stuff is fantastic. I remember getting my 5ml decant and spraying it for the first time - the goofy smile I felt on my face said it all, I knew this was something special right away even though I obviously didn't know how it was composed and blended like you broke it down as a perfumer. I have to say, the thing about your reviews I enjoy the most is actually the chemical breakdowns you give. I'm sure a lot of people just want to hear your general thoughts on a particular fragrance and I certainly want to as well but as someone who is just starting to delve into creating my own fragrances, learning about certain aroma chemicals and the effects they produce is most helpful. Whenever you say something like "he's using this material to provide lift and elevation" or "they're using this musk to create a velvety texture" or whatever, I take it as like a free perfumery crash course and it has helped me tremendously in knowing what types of aroma chemicals and naturals to purchase, instead of just going about it blindly.

I own Xerjoff Alexandria II, Uden Overdose, Accento, and Commandante. But I must say Alexandria II is above and beyond all else even all Xerjoff perfumes are special. Great review as always Aaron!

I watch this review when it just came out. But I keep watching it on and on and on. Just because the way you describe each part of this perfume . I close my eyes and see a maestro moving his hand in each part of a classical music band playing his music. So beautiful. As always.

If there is such a thing as a “Master Reviewer” of all things Fragrances, you would hand an down hold the title. Love learning so much from you. This along with Renaissance and 40 Knots are next on my buy list.

I love Aaron’s reviews because they always depict his personal love for perfumery and come off 100% honest and informative, whereas 95% of other YouTube reviewers sound like they were sent free stuff and are pulling an advertisement.

Hi Aaron, I received Xerjoff Naxos for Christmas this year from my wife and it’s simply stunning. I have been wearing Naxos almost every day. I also have been doing my research and keep coming back to Alexandria II. I have to get my nose on Alexandria II soon. Thank you for your review…you have piqued my curiosity for Alexandria II. Xerjoff has been my favorite house to explore in my journey thus far. Great content in your analysis of this fragrance!

Hey Aaron, François Demanchy really created a new masterpiece, Dior J’Adore Infinissime. A brand new perfume by the master. Funny fact, your Violet Delirium 4 sprays topped with 2 sprays Dior J’Adore Infinissime is heavenly. People start sniffing at me in public ☺️ and then compliment me on the extraordinary scent I carry. A must try for you!!! I’m convinced this will get your 10/10 approval.
