London Bridge is down. Four small words that changed the course of history, but with the most immense impact. The matriarch of the nation, the foundation stone of stability for so many people, mother and grandmother to her own family. Those four words would trigger unparalleled news coverage. The greatest breaking news headline in 70 years. In a year of unprecedented celebration of historical milestones, the second Elizabethan age has finally drawn to a close. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II is dead.

Prince Philip was definitely the uncrowned king. Once he passed away, Queen Elizabeth was truly heartbroken. You could tell she would join him shortly.

4:10 This was 2 days before the Queen's death and she must have known she was at the end of her earthly life, and yet look at that smile on her face. Absolutely radiant. Does that look like someone who is afraid of death, or someone who knows she has made good use of her life and awaits what comes next in joyful anticipation? Her humble and simple Christian faith is inspiring.
  • She will always be remembered as one of the best monarchs of the kingdom

Queen Elizabeth had so much wisdom. She ascended the throne at a time when women were not world leaders anywhere. She bravely took the reins and never looked back. She was a dignified example of female leadership and benevolent authority. She was a wonderful woman and I miss her presence in this world.

A wonderful tribute. Still find it difficult to believe she is no longer with us.

My grandson was born the day Queen Elizabeth passed. What a day it was for sure. Tears of joy tears of saddness...... A day I will never forget.💔❤️

When I heard the news in Colorado, I was preparing to fly to London that evening for a vacation planned months before. I can't express what it felt like to be there during that time. I'm an avid royal watcher and always admired Queen Elizabeth's grace and dignity.

I remember the day vividly I was at school in the USA and it was during lunch that I got a text by the Royal family channel and it said the queens health was deteriorating and so after lunch when we got to our English class we prayed for her since I go to a private school and we thought she would be fine but during the last hour of school at 3:00 pm my history teacher comes in and says that the queen died and then the next minute I get a text from the Royal family page on Facebook saying that the queen died and at that moment I was frozen in my seat I couldn’t move I couldn’t speak I just stepped out of the classroom so I could be alone.

Wow. I don't mind admitting, every time I watch something like that, my tears flow throughout. In no small way we have her influence and example to thank for the excellent King that we had now - but, what a loss! In that last scene she is surrounded by royal relatives who were born in the Reign of Queen Victoria (l. to r., Princess Marie Louise, [Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, the Queen's uncle, squeezing in front of] The Earl of Athlone and Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone,) and then you begin to appreciate the enormity of royal influence her lifetime spanned - no less than ten generations, with family links to half of Europe!

As just a rude American, I have to say, this touched me more deeply than I can truly understand. Yes, for me, too, Elizabeth II was the only royal I had ever known, an eternal constant. The woman was a font of wisdom, grace, and humor, a shining example of faith, honor, and duty. I'm not ashamed to say I was in tears for most of this tribute, and I can't even tell you for sure why. Except for this: the world is a diminished place without this grand lady in it. God save King Charles III, may he rule with half the grace and wisdom of his mother, he'll be remembered as a good king and an honorable man. This was a beautiful tribute to the longest reigning British monarch, may she rest in peace, reunited with her beloved Prince Phillip.

So respectfully presented, so profoundly significant…so painful to watch as saying goodbye throughout this piece was so difficult…thank you for sharing ERII

There are many Queens in other royal families. But HMTQE II was the Queen of all Queens... the Queen of the World, being the role model of what a good, pleasing to God human being, and lady ought to be. Like many people from the UK, HMTQE II has been the only Queen the world has known almost all our lives.

Even after nearly 2 years of her passing, her loss is still hard to accept. God Bless The King
