I didn't start to tear up until the tribute to Betty began. I honestly thought that she would make it to her 100th birthday. When she passed away before reaching that milestone, it hit me so hard. I really was rooting for her.

Aww! That’s a cute little doggie Jamie Lee Curtis was holding. R.I.P. Betty White. A beautiful golden girl. A real best friend.

We have had more than one rescue. Our latest rescue, Marlo, had Bone Cancer and we had his leg amputated. He's only 4, and had such a hard life until we adopted him. He deserves the best life ever. Rescues make the best pets!

The only Golden Girl featured in the Oscar In Memoriam. months had past since Betty’s demise but i still cant imagine the world without her, i thought she would live forever, but she will… she will live forever in out hearts and minds We Love You Betty

All dogs deserve love and someone to take care of them. I’ve had rescue dogs with a history as well as puppies from breeders who grew up to be adult dogs. All dogs are special no matter the circumstances. The dogs that I’ve adopted/rescued were always the most loyal and appreciative ones, though. With a rescue dog, you will know that you are truly loved, and you will recognize your worth as a caregiver to pets. You may not know their history, but that is the standard to which they will hold you.

What a splendid tribute, and yes the greatest legacy she leaves behind is to teach us to love and respect animals especially those rescued and in need of a loving home. Will honour that Betty👍🏻

Just like robin williams, Betty white was one of him but she was kind hearted, loveable and my childhood since I watched movies a shows she was in, And I’m hysterical crying typing this rn cause Betty white was my favorite and may she rest in peace, can’t believe she’s gone.😢
