It was an animal shelter. The dog he took was scheduled to be put down. He saved the dogs life.
  • The story goes that they found the cutest puppy they could for this movie because they wanted the audience to be so heartbroken & outraged when they unalived the puppy. It definitely worked.
  • Oh no. Edited out the Miss Perkins scene. "Your membership to the Continental has been by thine own hands. Revoked."

It was John's intention to remain in retirement after Viggo's son was dead. When Viggo said, "Make the arrangements," he meant for his son's funeral. It wasn't until Viggo killed Marcus that John decided to go after Viggo.
  • The surprise on Millie's face when the "S" word slipped out is the most adorable thing I've seen in a long while. Love you guys...keep on keepin' on.
  • His wife was the vet that operated the animal shelter that was how she got the first dog for him. If you remember when she collapsed it was at the same place as the last scene when he and the second dog are walking away.
  • The arrangements Vigo meant funeral arrangements for his son....the clipboard on the dog he took said the dog was scheduled to be put down
  • Wick mentions to Francis, the bouncer at the club, that he had lost some weight and Francis stated he had lost 20 kg, Wick was asking in code how many hostiles were in the building. Francis' reply was 20. Because he provided the information to Wick he was allowed to live.
  • One of my favorite things about the Wick franchise is that John has to reload his gun. In every other movie the protagonist just gets unlimited ammo. You can literally count the # of times he fires before needing to reload.

John Wick lets Francis live for a reason. When he says he lost “over 60 pounds” he was telling John how many people were inside, so because he gave John the heads up he was spared.

John Wick has killed 10x more people in 4 movies than Freddie Kruger, Michael Meyers, Jason have in dozens of movies. He has revenge inssues. But I am sure you understand if anyone hurt millie or your child, James becoming a killer would be a bigger understatement than telling John Wick "it was just a F*n dog".... 77 people were killed by John in this movie alone... and Keanu Reeves does his own stunts EXCEPT the insurance company won't let him get hit by cars or fall down stairs... The shooting and martial arts are all Keanu and he gets better every movie... You will love LOVE this series... I loved the reaction... oh yeah----- MILLIE YOU SAID A BAD WORK .... HECK YOU SCREAMED IT... (MILLIE HIDES AT GUY SHOT IN HEAD) THEN YELLS S**T OUT OF NOWHERE!... lmao THAT WAS THE BEST
  • @wikkedspindl
Pretty sure this is the first time Millie said a dirty word! Lol! But definitely one of the most heartbreaking starts to a movie (Up is a debatable second). It does a great job of making you cheer for an unaliving spree!
  • @757optim
"Dinner reservation for 12". The dog was scheduled to be put down.

John like most highly trained close quarter combat specialist prefer to use the Mozambique drill it involves to shots to chest and one to head to minimize the risk of passing an enemy that can shot or injure you as you pass. This is very effective to eliminate a target and move on focused on next targets without dividing your attention or focus on downed targets.

There are 4 movies and each get better than the last. You get to know more about the world he came from. And there is a slim possibility of a #5
  • @johnscott4196
Millie's instinct was better about his friend taking the contract
  • @MsSwordwolf
Marcus took the contract in part because Viggo tells him its an open situation, that anyone can claim the money as long as they complete the job. He knew there would be others trying to kill John, but that if he was also involved he had the chance to run interference.
