Should go to Lachlan, he is the real deal. Even Rupert was bit of a lefty when he was younger but Lachlan has always been on the better side of politics.

I'm a Kiwi. I stayed in aussie a couple of years ago. I read The Australian every morning. I couldn't believe that such a balanced, well written, well researched newspaper still existed in the Antipodes, especially compared to our jacinda-run Pravda-style propaganda sheets. Lachlan must follow his father. Rupert truly understands the necessity of a free press with an editorial policy that encourages balanced reporting.

I remember Lachlan giving a speech on the lockdown and the arrests of Australian citizens and the government overreach during COVID. He’s definitely the one to take over his father’s legacy.

Perhaps tv news is not the big thing anymore. In NZ an entire tv news network shut down after 35 years because viewership declined dramatically. I hope the Aust sky news stays but the viewers and unfortunately new owners tastes can change.

Easy for Andrew bolt to say he wouldn’t work for sky if they turned woke , he has had a long and successful career and should have enough retirement savings. He wouldn’t be saying the same thing if he was 30. He is right sky will vanish if it keeps drifting further to the left.
