Surprised that automated transcripts/captions wasn't included in this update — seems like a natural next step for improved search/metadata, and it would make leaving comments so much faster, rather than scrubbing around within an video to find a specific line.

I know I'm dreaming but it would be nice to see the mobile version come to android as well.
  • Would be slick to enable notifications to alert you that your shared project, file etc has been viewed and or downloaded.Maybe it is an option in Teams but this has been a great platform. Looking forward to working with camera to cloud soon.

I don't know about others, but the thing I wanted the most was an Android app. I would have rather seen that prioritized. Or at the very least, a mobile friendly version of the webapp.

frame io would be nice on android.. on the waiting list for beta, feels strange for a paying customer but word..

When is the guest permission getting released? Been waiting to onboard a couple freelancers and being able to tag them specifically in a comment.

Another of the millions of users that have never owned a single Apple device ... so the lack of Android is still a massive problem.
  • But why no android app? Plenty of creators use android phones and the webapp is horrendous.

Why not focus on the aspects that are clearly broken? The Premiere Pro and After Effects extensions are just terrible, to the point that successfully uploading a series of videos is close to a miracle. This has been happening for years and the worst part is that even the customer service isn't aware of many of the features, so they can't provide any help. These are very basic aspects of the service that need to be revamped.
