IPad mini 6 user here also. Love this thing!

I’ve had my iPad Mini 6th Gen for 2 Months and I’ve loved it. I originally had a iPad Air 2 until it broke, (it is on either IPadOs 12 or 14) Either way I love it!

Great video! Very informative. I ordered an iPad mini last week.
  • Thanks for the great review on the mini i pad , can’t understand why a lot of people gave out about it when it first came out . I had the 2018 12.9 I pad pro and sold it for the mini and man I’m glad I did it’s so handy you can easily take it everywhere with you especially with the small size factor , I just love it I also go the starlight one . I’m hoping a new model will come out this year with 120 h I will definitely be getting one . Thanks again .😎
  • I love my iPad mini. Im hoping we get a new one this year, I’ve had mine for about a year but i wish i would have gone with the larger storage. I mostly use it for reading or browsing the web when my phone is charging. That being said, I have an iPhone 15 plus and i dont see the iPad mini comparable in size with the screen. Minis for the win 😊
  • iPad mini user here and I simply have to put this thing to rest. The whole “jelly scrolling” thing people keep complaining about, yeah, I have not experienced any of that with my iPad Mini 6. I also have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I can’t tell the difference between the two when scrolling OTHER than the obvious extra real estate. So if any one of you are looking into the iPad Mini 6 then please don’t be put off by these videos talking about this “jelly scrolling issue”. I’m a PC gamer and I’m VERY particular about my monitors and their refresh rates. Believe you me, I have more than enough experience with both Good and Horrible screens and this iPad Minis are a home run. So if you’re looking just get one already and enjoy it.

I did notice the camera on the mini has a much closer focal length then my older iPhone 12 pro max. I was surprised how close, almost macro close, to an object and snap a photo!
  • Thank you from the UK. Last week I bought a 2024 11" iPad Pro plus the magic keyboard. I took it back to Apple 2 days later it's too big for my needs, expensive if can't get full use out of it. I saw the ipad mini but realised it's 3 years old nearly, so I'm going to wait until the next ipad mini release, definitely needs promotion and 128gb in 2024, just hope it cones later this year, will suit my needs far better. ❤

The only thing I really wish for is an M1/2 chip in the new Mini. That would be so cool because then Stage Manager would be available.
  • I've had mine about 3 4 weeks and I love the form factor. I don't mind if the mini 7 isn’t coming out this year because this device is 2nd to none for me right now.
  • I got mine recently, and I don't regret it one bit. I bought a renewed one from Amazon, the 256GB one and a used Apple pencil. Looking forward to the iPad Mini 7.

I mount mine(cellular )in my truck and it’s perfect since I don’t have CarPlay. Small and light and very capable and fits in the cargo pocket of my uniform pants too.

Great review Sir! I've been torn between getting one of the new iPads (I'm using a 12.9" 3d gen iPad Pro now) and upgrading my 8 year-old 13" MacBook Air to one of the new 15" models. Needless to say that would be a butt-load of bucks! Based on your great review, I'm going to pick up a Mini and a new 15" Air. Thanks again for the great info. Keep up the great work!
  • @Pagaugezero
I love my iPad mini 6 256 cellular version. It has the sharpest ppi at 324 vs the pro and air. Side by side you can see the text is sharper than he others. And that it goes with me practically everywhere I go.
  • I absolutely love my mini. I have the cell version but wish I had gotten the 256gb. Otherwise, I’m loving this thing. Got it in release month and it’s my daily, go to device over my phone even. I did just buy an 11 air to replace my 7 year old larger iPad. Am excited, love me the starlight color.

My quick & dirty contribution on how I use and why I like my iPad Mini Cellular - (used with MBA & iPhone Pro) AMAZINGLY this iPad still works very well with very few glitches - even after having dropped this device innumerable # of times while traveling without fail. Of course the battery is not up to scratch but as I use it mainly in my Van Conversion or Hot Hatch etc - there is always a USB plug nearby. Off course it is slow - but not excrutiatingly slow. I have recently two sided taped a metal ring (MagSafe magnet compatible without the charge) so when the Mini is in Sidecar mode it works on the multiple magsafe magnets I have in the van. I will definitely wait & buy the Mini 7 when it comes out real SOON!?! The Mini is simply a great portable high performance device that sits between an iPhone & MBA. It is complimentary and is an essential device (for me when traveling) doing the tasks described above. I would NOT even consider any other iPad. The large variety of productivity & entertainment uses for the Mini demonstrates how versatile it can be for so many people. Master of Nun - But Good at a lot of stuff - Fine by me!!! I use my Mini exclusively when I "TRAVEL" - to do the following: (otherwise it sits in a drawer). 55% - as a GPS unit mounted to a RAM mount in my vehicles.- the best GPS "EVER"! I downloaded the "Navigon" app (a Garmin app) and spent $60 for all North American Map Data. This App has not been updated for 5 years now - but still works just fine - some newest roads are not displayed but who gives a Flying F (the iPhone fills the gap). That's after over 200K miles of road trips. FYI - lots of pilots use the Mini for realtime in-flight information 40% - as a Sidecar or screen mirroring when viewing YT & movies - it is mounted to a MagSafe style magnet stand. 4% - as an eReader 1% - miscellaneous tasks. This usage distribution may change when I buy the 7 - a/w the pencil - time will tell... I will certainly wait & buy the new Mini 7 when it comes out real SOON!?! The Mini is simply a great portable high performance device that sits between an iPhone & MBA. It is complimentary and is an essential device (for me when traveling) doing the tasks described above. I would NOT even consider any other iPad.

The thick design with wide bezels that lowered the screen to body ratio is quite outdated compared to newer Android tablets. I bought instead a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+. I might consider later the mini 7 with a newer lighter and thinner build.
