From The AP:
Severe storms tore through the central and southeast U.S. late Tuesday and Wednesday, spawning damaging tornadoes, producing massive hail, and killing two people in Tennessee and one person in North Carolina.

A storm that rumbled across northeastern Tennessee brought high winds that knocked down powerlines and trees. Claiborne County Sheriff Bob Brooks said a 22-year-old man was in a car struck by one of the trees.

Wednesday afternoon, a tornado emergency — the weather service's highest alert level — was issued for an area south of Nashville including the towns of Spring Hill, Chapel Hill and Eagleville.

The National Weather Service had previously reported a likely tornado on the ground in nearby Columbia, about 45 miles (72 kilometers) south of Nashville. People in Columbia were injured and homes were damaged, according to Lynn Thompson, assistant director of Maury County 911.

A video captured by Eva Grey Howard showed the frightful moment the tornado passes an area near Columbia, TN.

Howard shot the vide while her husband John Howard was driving in the car.

"John, l love you, baby, you know I love you I'right? Always will," Eva Grey Howards can be heard telling her husband as fearing they may be facing death of injury." Dear Lord please spare us," she is heard saying.

The couple escaped unscathed.

John’s always been a man of few words, I respect that.

Did you notice that sickly yellow green colour? That is one of the best indicators of an impending tornado. I’ve seen it twice in real life.

It seems john doesn't have much to say in the relationship 😂

Not that close to their car. I’ve survived a couple, if it’s a direct hit you can’t see anything.

Sort of misleading title but IF the tornado was truly going to intercept then you HAVE to run to a ditch. People routinely get killed in vehicles.

It was at that moment that John realized he didn't love her.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those whose lives were affected by these Tornadoes and to those who lost loved ones. I'm so glad you were ok.

For starters, get out of the car and in a ditch!! Never stay in a car during a tornado. Anyone who lives in tornado alley knows this.
