Published 2020-10-04
This is my animation demo reel made in 2020 after graduating with a bachelors degree at Sae-Institute in Belgrade. This showreel shows different project that I have been working on. One project is done by myself and the other project is done through teamwork.

---Project Breakdown---

00:00-0:19 The Dobby animation:

The Dobby Character was modeled by Julian Johnson-Mortimer
and rigged by Joel Anderson using advancedSkeleton, abAutoRig and Osipa facial rig
More information on the Dobby rig can be found here:

The Lou Character was modeled by Dmitry Danilov www.artstation.com/dmitrodanilov and rigged by Boris Klimov vimeo.com/boristheartist
More information on the Lou rig can be found here:

The Gun model was modelled by free3d.com/3d-model/pack-of-15-modern-weapons-6-at…

With this project I learned how to animate faces and dynamic movements. It was interesting to work on this by myself and to discover different approaches and different pipelines for the outcome. Through this animation I got familiar with how important timing and planning is.
I also made use of geometry cache files in order to speed up the rendering process.

00:20-1:00 Hoopoe & Poly:

Hoopoe and Poly was a project work done in a group of two.
The dragonfly (Hoopoe) was modelled and rigged by my team mate Loris Vodeb and the lamp (Poly) was modelled and rigged by myself.
We both came up with the story, assembled the scene environment, lightning and animated both models
