  • A True Princess doesn't wish for her happy ending, she wishes for everyone's happy endings. Agatha is realistic character but also has pure at heart.

The fact that nobody else seems horrified about the Mogrif situation really underlines that none of the 'good' people are actually good.

I really like how Agatha's wish wasn't for romance. She simply wished that she - and anyone else who felt imprisoned at SGE - would return home. And that wish was so strong that she ended up saving the wish fish/young girl herself. Edit: OMG, over 1k likes! I've never gotten that many before! Thank you all so much!
  • I think this character was cleverly named. Agatha means "Good" -- however, growing up all the Agathas I've seen represented in media have either been witches/villains, old women, or women who were purposely made to look unappealing. And this character was supposed to be seen as a witch back home
  • Everyone else has talked about Agatha, but can we appreciate the teacher for a second? She’s dealt with shallow, beauty-obsessed girls for years and suddenly she’s faced with this? The look on her face after the fish’s transformation is brilliant.
  • I loved this scene from the book. Though they changed many things, like the fact that it was supposed to be princess Uma who was teaching the class and they way Agatha’s wish was way more intense than this, they did a pretty good job bringing this scene to life.
  • "Being good is not about how you look, it's about what you do". I loved it!
  • @KaseyKay92
That’s really sweet! She didn’t want someone to love, she just wants to go home and have everyone else go home who wants it

This scene in the book is much more intense. In the book, Agatha didn't know what to wish, but we could see the constant thoughts and feelings in her head "Don't fail - Home in bed - Don't fail - Sophie safe - Don't fail - Tedros dead" and then "New face - Same face - Blond hair - I hate blond hair! - More friends - No friends -" to "Home School Mom Dad Good Bad Boys Girls Ever Never-" and "Fail Win Truth Lies Lost Found Strong Weak Friend Foe" and so on, until her thoughts stop at "Give".

Never read the books but really hope we get more of Kiko and Agatha. I felt robbed when she talked abt wanting to be a cat and Agatha just looked at her like girl

I was genuinely worried after seeing the casting choices before the movie came out and how it would influence it in the aftermath, but really, I'm seriously impressed!! Sofia did an excellent job to bring Agatha to life, and it was just like how I reacted towards her in the books, since she was one of the only characters I could realistically stand 😩

This movie does such a great job at showing that good and evil are not black and white. The way that when Hester is injured by Rafal and Sophie the other Nevers rush to her side to make sure she’s okay. The pettiness of the Evers and the way they treat each other with this sort of hate and resentment.
  • The saddest part of all is we never got to see Gregor run his own grocery store.
  • @grecilia1911
Idk why they made it like agatha had a wish strong enough to be granted rather than it's being her talent to grant wishes, but it's still good ngl, just curious of what they will do in future projects regarding this
  • That’s a Real Princess!!! Good heart, emotional, empathy!!!!!! I love her acting and all the movie!!!!
  • the way i literally cried while reading this scene as a child and also shed a tear watching its adaptation
