Thanks for this video. I’m actually in the process of refreshing my HA setup at home, so this video was well timed. Thanks for the Tasmota 9.2 tip as well. I’ll be sure to update those devices. Great to see the latest best way to get add ons integrated as well. Keep up the great work :-)

Hello and thank you for the videos. These I can understand. You explain everything well and provide links to the products that you are talking about and showing in the video. You have really inspired me to revisit my ideas of putting permanent lights on the outside of my house. I also just realized in one of your videos that you’re located in Las Vegas as I am too. This again shows me that it can be done and even here in our desert. I will be continuing to review all your videos and hopefully making purchases soon to start my project, thank you again, Robbie
  • Great Top 10 (and a half) Doc! As always, some great practical advice and great to see you adding another focused video to the HA mix.

I am changing to home assistant from an ancient 15 year old Java/flash/Global Cache based home automation system. Everything, and I mean everything is totally changed. I am like Rip Van Winkle, as I have been asleep(absent) from home automation for a long time... From that, perspective, your conceptual planning video was immensely helpful as it provides a planning scheme for installation. I am following the emphasis and order of your videos and have found great success. As Paul Hibbert would say... I owe a you Beer (patron donation). I always pay my debts... Thank You Descartes
