The Biggest Problems Of LEGO DC Sets...

Thanks for watching I know some people might agree with this video or disagree completely feel free to give me any criticism. Also, what do you think would make this theme better?

kind of disappointing that when the lego dc super villains game released lego didn't take that opportunity to make some sets from the videogame.

Agree, too much Batman. We could do a bunch of Superman sets with villains like Metalo or Toyman. We could do a Green Arrow set with Count Verdigo or Flash with Mirror Master. So many ideas with top heroes that aren’t Batman. If they have to do Batman, they could at least give us a few Batman Beyond sets!

That new Daily Bugle hurts my soul. Marvel gets that while DC can't get a Daily Planet, Fortress of Solitude, Hall of Justice, Watchtower etc. Instead they get yet ANOTHER Batmobile.

Personally I think Lego DC peaked with the wave based on Lego DC Super Villains. So many different and new characters. Cheetah, Lobo, Reverse Flash, Killer Frost, Firestorm. And interesting reiterations of classic characters, like giving the Justice League outfits matching their then current DC Rebirth comic run.

I don't think the problem is entirely Batman, part of the issue is the presentation. LEGO reuses so many of the same vehicles (batwing, batmobile, batwing, etc) and there isn't enough to build off of. Side builds are small and very precise to certain situations and become just wasted space to add to the price. Now, I'm a big Batman fan but I do think they should do more heroes, maybe add more variants of characters. I wanna see more of the bat family, a new Alfred for the mainstream theme, more villains (hush, Grundy, anarchy, etc), other heroes (Steel, Question, more Lanterns, etc).

Not only are some of the prices ridiculous, but I feel like they over use Batman. I think we need some new characters, such as doctor fate, swamp thing, etc. along with the better sets, as there has been a lot of repeating with some of these.

We need more sets like the new batman tv show boatmobile.

might as well go back to naming the theme lego batman because whenever we do get a non batman related character its still in a fully batman related set. i cant believe we finally got another shazam...and it was in a riddler chase set.

I'm a die hard Batman fan, and I agree that DC Comics sets are getting worse in each wave. There are many other characters they could make sets of: - Teen Titans: With minifigures like Wally West, Jinx, Deathstroke or Mad Mod. - Superman: Metallo, Doomsday, a good Brainiac minifigure, or the electric chick. - Batman Beyond: Terry McGinnis Batman, old Bruce Wayne, Blight, Shriek, or Spellbinder. Even if they keep doing Batman sets, they use new villains. Professor Pyg, Zsasz, Hush, Solomon Grundy...

At least with Marvel Lego knows how to make variety of sets thanks to not just the MCU but they do comic book sets too and the new Daily Bugle is just amazing

We need Zack Snyder’s Justice League sets. Shazam! sets wouldn’t hurt either.

i hope one day LEGO can make a set of hall of justice.

I think they should maybe do more Green lantern sets because he ring is willpower and he can turn into almost anything. So I think the lego DC sets can have more creative builds if that focus a little more on green latern.
