The microphone gameplay is literal hell and I love it. They put jump scares on you so you would have to scream, alerting the monster, giving another level of horror and fear. This game is no joke lol

I’m sure the game at the end was inspired partially by Timothy King, one of the Oakland child killer’s victims. In which the mother of timothy sent out a public plea asking the killer to give her child back so he can have his favorite meal, KFC. And in the autopsy, they found his last meal was fried chicken. He was killed by strangulation.

The mannequins were representation of Timmy, they’re headless and have no arms…and this is actually based on a real case and his actual last meal was fried chicken Case: The Oakland County Child Killer and the little boy’s name is Timothy King

Okay so, Berlin, since you didn't give two shits about the lore I'll try to explain it right now. The kid that you're playing as, is responsible for the torture and murder of a young boy (the boy in the picture). When he falls into the backrooms off his skateboard, he hits his head and dies as a result, and the Backrooms is his own personal form of hell. In which he is tormented by the little boy and what he did to him. That's why the little boy is the monster. It's also based off an actual cold case committed by the Oakland County Child Killer.

20:58 Wow, the attention to detail(s)is phenomenal in this game. You can even see the character's shadow tip-toeing on the wall. I couldn't believe it when I first saw it, so I had to watch it back a few times to truly be sure of what I was seeing. But yeah, that's what it was. Lol 😄😄
