Repair/return of the Princeton circuit to stock condition is complete. It was about a 8 hour process. The amp was completely gutted and rewired. It was well worth the effort. Tony C and I agree, this is the best sounding MojoTone kit Princeton we have heard. Lots of chime, punch, very pleasing to listen to. If you are struggling with a kit build, contact me, Glad to assist. This is my 100% livelihood now. Been on my own for about a month now. Lights are still on, vittles are still on the grill!     Terry, I understand that teflon wiring (3:30) can be difficult to strip, so could you please recommend a suitable wire stripper ?

    Can you recommend a supplier for 22 gage teflon filament wire? And is it solid wire or stranded?

    Is the lowend fizzle noise noise (quite noticeable around 5:42) a distorted mic signal or noise that is normal for a princeton reverb? I also have it at home at my princeton with a p12q speaker and I am trying to find out if this is normal to this amp.

    So maybe not do a diy tube/valve amp build unless you really know what you are doing? I’m gonna keep getting mine pre-made I do believe. Sounds great now!
