Gear By Chi unboxing video! (Service Dog Vlogs)

Published 2019-05-15
This video took me forever (like two months) to finally post lol. Sadly the shop I got this gear from is now closed. Also, apologies for the poor production quality, I’ll be improving in the future I promise.

Disclaimer: Buying SD gear online does not make your dog a SD. Lexie has task training and all gear I buy for her is just because I want it. It’s not even necessary for a dog to be marked. A service dog is a dog who has been individually trained to perform work or tasks for the disabled handler that specifically relate to and mitigate their disability. If you are not disabled you may not bring a task trained dog in public, and if you are disabled you may not bring a dog in public who has no task training for your disability.

Lexie’s tasks: deep pressure therapy, heart rate and hyperventilation alert/response, syncope (fainting) response, forward momentum pulling and counterbalance, behavior interruptions, dropped item retrieval, sensory stimulation/distraction.
