Stunning church, and hard to believe it was only built in the 1930's. I'm glad they decided on the traditional design, I don't think I'd like the look of an art deco church. Thanks for sharing your experience at the fete. I'm very sad that we missed out on your Bruce Forsythe impression😂

Going to church fetes was a common event when I was a child but I think harder economic times have made them much rarer. I'm not a fan of a lot of modern architecture either. My interest is in colonial (ie pre-1901) buildings. The masonry in that church is impressive though. ⛪
