The day Iron Maiden swapped instruments on TV

According to sources, this performance was recorded in 1987 during a german TV show, where Iron Maiden was supposed to play along with the studio version of Wasted Years. Since they felt lip syncing would be ridiculous (and it is), they decided to humorously protest by swapping instruments.

    The idea of asking one of the best live bands of all time to lip sync is ridiculous! This was the only possible response that Maiden could give.

    The best part about this, is that Steve, Dave, Bruce and Nicko are pissing about because they didn't like being forced to mime, and Adrian Smith is still trying to maintain total professionalism while it's all going on xD
