  • I love how Teddy still insists on paying even as he’s yelling at Bob.

“What am I supposed to do, replace my phone every 10 years!??” fucking killed me

One thing i like about teddy is hes always polite. I mean he just yelled at Bob, disrupting the mood of the restaurant and immediatley apologizes to the only customer there for his actions. How can you not like him

There’s something about animated characters having real raw arguments that just absolutely sends me every damn time

I love how quickly they match each other's energy. It's like their outrage is just simmering below the surface at all times. 🤣

"3 years ago you forgot a tomato on by burger and I said NOTHING" lmfao
  • “Cars don’t have batteries, idiot. THEY RUN ON GAS!” I. DIED.
  • @Reyeyawn
It’s funny how they go from calm to yelling and back to calm like nothing ever happened 😂😂
  • The shrill “YES” when they were arguing about the tickets takes me out everytime like the pure rage in his voice 😭

3:45 you can hear the echo from the recording room (which is supposed to be insulated) from how loud he's yelling lmao
  • The way Mort just sits there watching with a smile as they argue in the first one

"Here's your bill. It's four dollars and sixteen cents, PERVERT." "Okay, four dollars and sixteen ce- P-PER-PERVERT?!?!??! WHO YOU CALLIN 'PERVERT'?!" "IT'S WRITTEN ON THE BILL!" 0:34 This show has the most naturally funny dialogue I have ever seen, right next to Home Movies. The absolute upscale in the banter felt so realistic, it had me on my knees laughing lmaooooooo

Teddy is one of the best adult characters, and I'm being 100% serious. He's cool, knows how to fix things, is nice with kids, will pay for his meal every single time, encourages Linda and treats her like a sister, tries his absolute hardest to not insult Bob and most importantly, laughs at their terrible, godawful jokes. Only bad thing about him is that he can get extremely weird and unstable sometimes. Makes you feel like he doesn't understand the concept of boundaries and just a simple...no lol. Which is interesting, because he's also awful at saying no to people.

teddy's responses are hilarious cause he's never ever intentionally rude/disrespectful

I wish there was more of this angry dialogue with teddy and Bob. I ended up watching more of the later episodes and it seems teddy becomes more obsessed with pleasing Bob while Bob seems more awkward about confronting him. It's so surprising to see these earlier episodes and watch them get mad at each other lol
