  • This isn’t accurate. The actually fight would be 9 episodes long, being 70% flashbacks, 20% filler, and 10% actual fighting
  • @pancakesonrage902
It’s really funny to imagine Obito using the ten tails, the six paths power, and the infinite tsukuyomi for a seemingly random guy in a black suit
  • @supbruh7237
I’m not mad that Vader lost. I’m happy that Vader was RESPECTED.
  • @BlackGoId
You can’t overpower Darth Vader, but you can comfort and subdue Anakin Skywalker.
  • @Mr_Wholegrain
People don't seem to realise that Obito had this fight before it even began. He can fly and thus always has the high ground. Edit: I'm disappointed by the amount of people missing the joke.
  • @adlie7006
Bro, Vader got a kinder death than most of the heroes get on this show.
  • @CovenantArmada
16:06 Vader staring down the 10 tails like it's nothing is one of the greatest shots in Death Battle history.
  • @tracephage
Obito's voice changing from Madara's to his own the moment the mask shatters is a nice touch.
  • @YouTubeOGEhm
“Vader may have been able to beat Obi-One, but he just couldn’t handle Obi-Two.” 😂 perfect
  • @WillieManga
Jesus, it was really nice of Obito to show Anakin respect at the end. It was more honorable than his other death on this show.
  • @DergSol
Little known fact, Obito’s also dope on the mic
  • @eco1828
I do like that Obito seemed to relate and sympathize with vader the entire fight
  • @thenerdbeast7375
I'm surprised you didn't bring up mentality in the post-match commentary, Vader had some serious emotional trauma that could be exploited; the same pain and anger that made him strong was also his biggest weakness.

When I first saw this I thought it was kinda ridiculous how Dark Vader, a guy that just has cybernetic enchancements a light saber and a pretty great hold of the force, could hold off against Obito. But after 10 seconds into it, I realized just how great the force truly is, and how one sith was once able to completely suck dry a planet with it.
  • @LordCrate-du8zm
I love how UNSTOPPABLE Vader feels in this. You just feel the raw physical power behind every move he makes.
  • "You've....lost your humanity as well." Man they nailed the dialogue and portrayed each character so accurately, well done!
  • @joshuagamer2165
“You are liberated from hell…find peace in the next life”. No doubt, one of the coldest lines I have ever heard in any Death Battle!

About Brandon Yates sponsoring Death Battle: I don't think Death Battle would be what it is today without him and Therewolf. There's a synergy of give and give back. Something I find absolutely hilarious about Vader's run-up. I've read in several Star Wars trivia books over the years, starting in the late 1980s, that in the original Star Wars concept, Luke Skywalker would have had the name Starkiller. It was changed because the whole killer vs hero issue. (finishes watching) ...didn't expect THAT death. Obito giving Vader an illusion of what Anakin most desperately wanted was heart-rending.
