That's pretty sweet Matt! Those plastic barrels are heavy duty and perfect for making a horizontal tank. Never thought about that. See places on the side of the road selling those for $5 apiece. Definitely a good idea for the future

thats a great idea, what i would do is get 10 gallons of lake water (would have beneficial bacteria to boost ) to help speed up the cycle of the tank
