EPISODE 114 - A Surprisingly Productive River Hunt (and a bonus musical number!)

Joseph and I went out the first weekend in December and hit the river after a low, muddy rise. I was surprised by how much I found, but disappointed that, no matter how much gravel I let Joseph take, he could not find a point for love nor money! Hopefully his next trip will go a bit better.

I know how discouraging it can be when all there is to hunt is freshly mudded gravel. That's a challenging condition to hunt in. But you really DID do quite well. Congrats. I think your triangle there definitely has some very Dalton characteristics to it for sure. I know how most fossils don't always give that same personal gratification as a finding a point does but, man, I loooove seeing the kinds of fossils you find in your area. We just don't have most of that stuff where I am at and I feel like a lot of people don't show fossils in videos. I'm really glad you do. You find some fossils I'd be doing flips over.
