She sounds like Sarah Palin. Yahoo is in trouble...
-
What she does that's unfair is build a whole nursery for her son next to her office yet does not allow her employees that same standard of leniency. Bosses should not play by a different moral rule book from their employees.
-
That was one of the several reason, good engineers left the company
-
Marissa's elimination of working from home had nothing to do with collaboration, and everything to do with the fact that middle managers couldn't manage their remote employees effectively, and instead of fixing the managers, she forced the employees into a "one size fits all" mold. As a result she lost some of her best and brightest, well done...
-
She unintentionally helmed the co. into a state of buyout to appease shareholders tired of losing capital on her harebrained ideas. Where's her leadership again?
-
she destroyed yahoo
-
She does not talk or behave like a top CEO. Maybe just because she isn't.

You can text Hey
-
I like Yahoo's stories about animals.
-
I noticed that. You can send an email from home, but we want you in the office in normal business hours... right....
-
I'll never commute. That's all there is to it.
-
Is she just hoarse or does her voice really sound this annoying all the time? Good lord I can't imagine having to hear that raspy voice all the time.
-
Work at home alone employees.... screw off a lot. dont be naive.
-
Marissa Mayer I love you forever
-
When aspergers try to treat others kindly failing? That's MY life! 🙂
-
Why are all of your comments such nonsense?...
-
A good example of someone that should’ve never become CEO, she looks a better fit for HR or Marketing maybe.

People, this woman is trying to save a company that is dying on its arse. Creating a new vision for a company that doesn't seem to have one takes a lot more collaboraation hence the 'not right for us RIGHT NOW' part of her answer.
-
Bye Yahoo!! I'm gonna miss you.. This chick is nuts!!
-
This is idiotic and insulting. She banned work from home because her employees were not actually working from home, as verified by network access logs. They were cheating, basically, and their privilege was revoked.
