  • The bowl is from Episode 4 of the series, "Sanctuary," and it is a bowl of "bone broth". Mando isn't sure what the kid eats or if he can even chew (up to that point he has only swallowed a frog whole), so while in a tapcaf (cafe/diner) he orders bone broth for the kid. The frog is obviously to represent the 2 frogs we see him catch, one which he swallows in episode 2, and one which he spits out in episode 4 when a bunch of kids react negatively with "Ewww!", so he spits it out before swallowing it completely and smiles at the kids to put them at ease.

At 4:58 when the Mandalorian came out my Spanish teacher in highschool was letting us watch it in class around Christmas time. I got him one of those ones for Christmas just because he mentioned that he wanted a Grogu of his own. It was the only one I could find and he told me as a collector he'd never open it. He still has it to this day sitting on his desk unopened even after I graduated high school.

You find out his name eventually throughout the series and The Book of Boba Fett comes after The Mandalorian so you get more to watch even when you finish The Mandalorian. You do see The child again in The Book of Boba Fett. Also his name is revealed to be Grogu. I have the animatronic one with the necklace that is expensive for a toy($60 or more depending on where you buy it), The one from Dollar General for $13, The Build A Bear Grogu one for $44, and the Build A Bear Grogu Sleeper onesie for $14 as a extra outfit for My Build A Bear one.
  • 99% of us calls him Baby Yoda

We know it’s not really Yoda, they didn’t name his species yet, so for now we’re calling him Baby Yoda.

I love watching you unbox and make evry baby yoda look really good, btw, in the show they explain his real name is grogu, and yoda already existed.love you!<3
  • @ryanhobgood1994
To answer your question: That is a different child from the same species as Yoda. The Mandalorian takes place about 5 years after Yoda dies in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Yoda died at the age of around 950 years old (so close to 1,000)

Yoda and Yaddle are the parents. They hid baby Yoda because its force powers were so terrifying and, of course, Yoda and Yaddle broke the Jedi code with their lovemaking. Little Yoda could easily be far worse than Anakin, and was sent away to a desert world.

The child often called 'baby Yoda ' is not Yoda as proven by the fact its after Yoda's death

Best dad ever!!!! Great review video , now they came out with the animatronic one, can you do a review on that one? Also are you allowed to give a ball park price on them? You and camera mom are super awesome. Thank you for the video.
  • Scentsy has a soft doll that is a good size and comes with his own signature scent pack called ā€œAdventureā€.
  • I adore all of these! I've got the Animatronic edition coming -- can't wait. One of many great aspects of your unboxing show is, if we only can afford one of them (or, say, one of each of the most expensive ones), we can decide not to unbox ours. If I can afford another Animatronic The Child, then, sure, I'll unbox only one.

You're very entertaining. "Frog-gras"--ha-haaaahhhh! The Child is soooo cute! :-)

At COSTCO they have the child plush like the one in the middle but it also comes with extra stuff like the frog. The cup. The knob from Mandos ship that he likes and the necklace too!!!!!!!!

When I got the mini collection of 6, the sad puppy eyes one came with the one with the silver ball. So they didn’t put them in the numbered order. He is not Yoda, but he is from the same race, as Yoda. He is just a baby of 50 years.

That was a great look at the baby Yoda collection. You did a great job unboxing all of them and giving us a detailed proper look at them. Great job man. šŸ‘šŸ»
