Evolution of Princess Zelda Being Rescued (1986 - 2019)

can we talk about spirit tracks zelda? in my opinion, she put in a shit ton of work just to get her body back and even worked with link for pretty much the entire game. she also has way more personality than the other zeldas in my opinion since we watch her grow alongside link during the journey

People don't give Zelda enough credit. They think she's only the damsel in distress that needs rescuing, but she's not. That's Peach's job. Zelda, on the other hand, is not just a damsel in distress. In Wind Waker, she helps you fight Ganon with Light Arrows. She does the same in Twilight Princess. In Ocarina of Time, she hides from Ganon for SEVEN years. And during that time, she rescues Ruto. And STILL in Ocarina of Time, she helps Link seal away Ganon by restraining him with her magic. In Breath of the Wild, she's the one who finished off Ganon. Heck, in Skyward Sword, she saves Link from certain death after Groose steals Link's loftwing. I could go on some more, but you get the idea.

Wow that very first Zelda game. "Thanks Link, you're the hero of Hyrule. ... ... lol k bai." xD

I don't care what anyone says. Spirit Tracks had an amazing soundtrack

My favorite cutscenes are Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, A Link to the Past, Skyward Sword, The Minish Cap, A Link Between Worlds and Breath of the Wild

Spirit Tracks was one of my all time favourite Zelda games. For example, Zelda helps Link throughout the entire game, you could even play as her too, as well as the game having (in my opinion) the best soundtrack. Let's not forget the ending too, with the sacred duet. That part always gives me chills, no matter how many times I play through it. Spirit Tracks played a huge part in my childhood, and if anyone hasn't already, I HIGHLY recommend you play through it.

Wait a minute! In Wind Waker, you don’t actually save Zelda; she’s helping you fight Ganondorf! Sure, you save her in the sense of her realizing her true identity, but that’s not the type of saving this video’s talking about!

I can imagine Daisy, Rosalina, and the Ice Climbers rescuing Peach and Zelda from Bowser.

You forgot about phantom hourglass. Though she goes by Tetra, it is still the same zelda as in windwaker.
